$13.00 starting hourly rate to $16.00 max hourly rate

Position Summary:

Lake Metroparks is seeking a part-time Corporate Sales and Events Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of public and private events at Farmpark. Reporting to the Farmpark Corporate Sales and Events Manager, this position provides administrative and event support, coordinates communications and logistics, maintains accurate records, and provides courteous service to guests. The schedule is up to 28 hours per week and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

One to two years of experience in customer service, event coordination, public service, or related work.

Valid driver's license and ability to meet Lake Metroparks' vehicle insurance requirements.

Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Availability to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Ability to operate Park District vehicles and equipment safely, as assigned.

Required Training:**

Employees must complete and maintain all required training, which may include safety, fraud prevention, ethics, harassment prevention, and job-specific training.
