Accounts Receivable Clerk Lake Disposal Services of Northern Ohio

Lake Disposal Services of Northern Ohio is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team! This position is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and organized, with a knack for managing financial records and customer accounts. If you have experience in accounts receivable or are looking to grow in this field, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Process and post customer payments accurately and promptly

Generate and send invoices to customers

Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collections

Reconcile accounts and address any billing discrepancies

Maintain detailed financial records and documentation

Assist with generating accounts receivable reports

Handle customer billing inquiries and payment arrangements

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

Qualifications:

Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar role preferred

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Effective communication skills to work with customers and team members

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional accounting coursework a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Paid vacation

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 1st shift
