The Janitorial Manager oversees the cleaning and maintenance operations of a facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. This role manages janitorial staff, coordinates schedules, enforces cleaning standards, and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and schedule janitorial staff.

Develop and implement cleaning procedures and schedules for offices, restrooms, common areas, and specialized spaces.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Inspect facilities regularly to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and PPE.

Address maintenance or cleaning issues promptly and effectively.

Prepare reports on staff performance, cleaning activities, and supply usage.

Promote a safe working environment and train staff on proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in janitorial management or facilities supervision.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Experience with audits and inspections

Strong understanding of janitorial equipment -SOWs, management, and cleaning practices.

Creating and implementing cleaning schedules and routes

Experience creating effective people development plans

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
