The Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated metal components into finished or semi-finished products in accordance with drawings, work instructions, and shop standards. This role works closely with welders, sub-assemblers, and supervisors to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficient production flow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities {#essential-duties-and-responsibilities data-start="731" end="776"}

Assemble metal parts and components according to blueprints,

drawings, or work orders.

Fit, align, and secure parts using hand tools, power tools, clamps,

and fixtures.

Verify parts meet specifications before and after assembly

Work with welders to prepare assemblies for welding

Perform basic measurements using tape measures, squares, and

calipers

Identify and report defects, missing parts, or quality concerns

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety procedures and shop policies

Qualifications {#qualifications data-start="1310" end="1332"}

Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to read basic blueprints or assembly drawings

Basic mechanical skills and hand tool experience

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
