What Youll Be Doing:

Prepare, format, and issue legal documents and correspondence with

precision

Create, maintain, and organize case files and trial folders

Manage attorney calendars and court schedules using I-Stars,

Spillman, ILETS, and VIPER

Transcribe interviews and hearings; scan and copy media (CDs, DVDs,

VHS)

Draft pleadings and correspondence independently based on general

instruction

Communicate with clients and court personnel with professionalism

and discretion

Maintain strict confidentiality while balancing multiple priorities

Do You Have What It Takes?

We want a self-starter who demonstrates initiative, reliability and high standards of professionalism. You should have:

Education & Experience:

Associate degree in Legal Secretarial Studies or

Two years experience in a law office with senior-level

secretarial duties or

Equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills & Knowledge:
Proficiency in legal terminology, legal formatting, and document

drafting

Knowledge of court rules and citation formats

Excellent grammar, spelling, and written communication

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently under pressure with minimal

supervision

Must have high ethical standards and discretion with

confidential information
