KK Auto Parts LLC seeks an Accountant in Livonia, MI

Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain general ledger, and prepare month-end and year-end close procedures.

Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory count.

Analyze discrepancies and recommend corrections, ensuring accuracy.

Establish and maintain depreciation schedules for all company fixed assets.

Calculate monthly depreciation expenses and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, ensuring they are accurate and comply with financial policies and regulations.

Analyze financial data and create reports to be presented to management, providing insights and recommendations.

Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure that the company adheres to the necessary financial regulations.

Assist in documenting and updating business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Develop financial and accounting reports to facilitate data-driven business decision-making.

Job requirements: Must have at least 1 year' experience in:

Account reconciliation

General ledger management

Month-end & year-end closing

Accounts payable / receivable

Inventory accounting

Fixed asset accounting

Depreciation schedules & expense posting

Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS

Internal controls & compliance

Business process documentation
