Position Overview:

Support the Welding Shop team with entry-level, hands-on assistance such as organizing materials, preparing parts, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and completing basic shop support tasks-while learning foundational practices in a manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the Welding Shop team with basic day-to-day tasks such as organizing materials, cleaning work areas, and keeping toolsproperly storedand accessible.

Follow all safety instructions and wear required PPE while helpingalways maintaina safe shop environment.

Prepare parts for welding operations as trained (e.g., cleaning surfaces, removing debris, stagingmaterials for welders).

Perform basic finishing tasks such as deburring, light grinding, sanding, or cleaning weld spatter under supervision.

Maintain shop cleanliness by keeping workstations organized, disposing of scrap materials, and supporting housekeeping efforts.

Support inventory and supply organization, including restocking commonly used materials and notifying team members when items are low.

ExemplifyKingsbury's safety mindset bycomplying withall safety requirements and actingas a safety ambassador.

Attend all company-requiredtrainingsand meetings (e.g.,safety and department meetings).

Oversee andmaintainthequality according to Kingsbury Quality Assurance standardsacross Kingsbury products and processes.

Complete special projects, continuous improvementinitiativesandallotherduties asassigned.

Qualifications:

Experience: 0+ years relevant experience required.

Education: High school diploma or perusing.

Preferred Experience: Prior work in manufacturing environment, hand/power tool use, blueprint reading experience.
