Position Summary

Kin Care Transportation LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional NEMT Drivers to join our growing team in Marysville, Washington. We specialize in Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

This role provides door-through-door service, meaning drivers play an essential role in ensuring passengers are safely assisted from their residence into medical facilities and back home. Our drivers are more than transportation providers---they are trusted professionals who support vulnerable members of our community with care, dignity, and respect.

Primary Responsibilities

Safe Transportation

Operate company vehicles in a safe, courteous, and defensive manner.

Transport passengers to and from medical appointments, including dialysis centers, physical therapy clinics, and other healthcare facilities.

Passenger Assistance

Provide full door-through-door assistance, including helping passengers enter and exit vehicles.

Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices using approved 4-point tie-down systems.

Ensure passenger comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

Professional Conduct

Demonstrate patience, empathy, punctuality, and professionalism when interacting with elderly and disabled passengers.

Represent Kin Care Transportation LLC in a positive and respectful manner.

Compliance & Documentation

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Maintain accurate trip logs and required documentation.

Follow all company policies, state regulations, and safety protocols.

Document trip completion accurately and in a timely manner.

Mandatory Requirements (Candidates Must Meet)

Driving Experience: Minimum of 3 years of licensed driving history in the United States.

Driving Record: Ability to provide a current 3-year or 5-year Washington State Employment Driving Record (Abstract) from the WA Department of Licensing.

o No major violations (DUI, Reckless Driving) within the past 5 years.

Certification: Valid Defensive Driving Course Certificate, or willingness to obtain one independently prior to start.

Background Check: Must successfully pass a fingerprint-based WSP/FBI background check for working with vulnerable adults.

Drug & Alcohol Testing: Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Physical Ability: Ability to assist passengers and secure mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

Current PASS (Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity) Certification.

Current CPR and First Aid Certification (Adult and Pediatric).

Schedule & Work Environment

Primary work schedule is Monday through Friday.

Saturday availability is required.

Position requires physical activity, including assisting passengers and handling mobility equipment.
