YARDMAN/TRUCK DRIVER

The Yardman/Truck Driver position with KandT Irrigation carries a variety of opportunities and responsibilities in the irrigation industry. This position contributes to the success of KandT Irrigation's day-to-day operations and assists the Field Service Team. This position is also dedicated to safety, quality and efficiency.

Some Candidate Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

Yard projects and organization

Assist with yard and parking lot maintenance

Assist with general labor when needed

Unloading incoming parts and products

Loading and unloading irrigation structure and components

Assisting with general maintenance of company assets such as vehicles, equipment and buildings

Hauling irrigation products and heavy equipment to job sites

Hauling grain project equipment and product deliveries

Candidates must be eager to learn and actively seek to master the projects they are assigned to.

The Estimated Position Breakdown Is:

50% Yard/Shop Work

25% Trucking/Traveling

25% Field Work

Education and Work Experience:

Operating heavy equipment

Ability to follow instruction, meet expectations and work long hours outside

Working in a team environment

Irrigation and grain bin site experience not necessary

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age

Must have a valid Class A CDL

Must be able to work overtime during peak season

Must be willing to overnight if out of town traveling

Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Must be able to perform direct physical effort
