POSITION DUTIES: The Specialty Software Engineer will be responsible for the following: System Design and Architecture: Responsible for designing and architecting ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements. Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborating with stakeholders, including business analysts and end-users, to analyze requirements for ServiceNow implementations. Translating these requirements into technical specifications and solutions. Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure the platform to meet specific business needs. This involves creating new modules, workflows, business rules, UI pages, and integrations with other systems. Integration and Data Migration: Integrating ServiceNow with other third-party applications and systems is a crucial aspect of the job. Lead should design and implement integration solutions and manage data migration when required. Development and Scripting: Writing and maintaining scripts and code (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.) for ServiceNow applications and enhancements. Secure Coding: Ensuring that ServiceNow implementations adhere to security best practices and compliance standards. This includes managing user access, data protection, and handling sensitive information. Performance Optimization: Optimizing ServiceNow performance and monitoring system health to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Troubleshooting and Support: Providing technical support to resolve issues related to ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations. Documentation: Preparing detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and implementation guidelines. Provide guidance to team members on technical issues, bug fixes and formulating solutions. Role may telecommute from unanticipated locations in the United States

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field and 3 years of experience as Software Engineer or Related Role working with ServiceNow.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have experience working with ServiceNow platform. Must have experience developing and configuring custom workflows, scripts and UI pages for ServiceNow FSM modules such as Field Service Management. Must have experience managing and establishing integrations with SAP-P40 in ServiceNow. Must have experience integrating ServiceNow with third party applications such as JIRA and APIs, Scripted REST APIs and SQL queries. Must have experience working with ServiceNow REST API Explorer, Java Script, HTML, CSS and SQL. Role may telecommute from unanticipated locations in the United States.
