Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

Must be on-site at scheduled start time and present for the daily huddle.

Must be able to identify potential hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.

Be present for Weekly Toolbox Talks.

Ensure proper setup, maintenance, and removal of all traffic controls.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum of 3 years experience.

MOT Advanced, certified.

Knowledge of FDOT and MUTCD standards.

Able to follow verbal instructions.

Active Driver license.

Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles.

Team player and strong interpersonal skills.

Self-starter with excellent verbal communication skills.

Reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

All work is performed outside in heat, cold, and inclement weather.

Exposure to loud noises, fumes, odors, gasses, dust, etc.

Work in close proximity to heavy traffic.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue

Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
