Journey Construction is seeking an

Industrial Project Managerto join our team in

Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In this role you'll lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-performance industrial and treatment facility projects from planning through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS AN INDUSTRIAL PROJECT MANAGER?

Lead all phases of project execution - from preconstruction through close-out - with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance

Serve as the primary client interface and internal project leader

Collaborate with architects, engineers, owners, and field teams to align project scope and implementation

Oversee progress reporting, deliverables, and communication across teams

Participate in resource planning, team development, and problem-solving to ensure exceptional project outcomes

Monitor project performance and take proactive actions to address issues and risks

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

5-10+ years of experience in industrial or heavy construction, project management, or related roles

Proven experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES NEEDED

Strong leadership, communication, and client-management skills

Deep understanding of construction processes, safety, budgeting, and scheduling

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead teams to deliver results

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Office and construction systems
