SOUS CHEF

About the Role:

Jolene's is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our fine dining team. As the Sous Chef, you will collaborate closely with our Chef, ensuring a seamless kitchen operation that delivers culinary excellence with every dish. This is a chance to work in a refined environment where every detail matters, from the precision of your plating to the passion in every bite.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a High-Caliber Kitchen: Ensure the kitchen is fully prepped, organized, and ready for flawless service.

Lead & Inspire: Train and guide cooks, ensuring the highest level of quality and consistency in every dish.

Taste, Train, Repeat: Continuously taste and refine dishes, providing constructive feedback to the team to maintain our exceptional standards. Taste everything, taste often.

Oversee Product Quality: Assist with inventory, cost management, and upholding our commitment to only the finest ingredients.

Impeccable Cleanliness: Ensure all areas of the kitchen meet our strict standards of cleanliness and organization.

Compensation:

Salary: $65,000/year - $70,000/year based on experience.

Paid Time Off: 5 days a year

Benefits: Optional health insurance covered by the employer at a rate of 50% of the normal cost through Independence Blue Cross HMO. Optional dental insurance covered by the employer at a rate of 50% of the normal cost through United Concordia Dental.
