We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of menu planning, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. A motivated Line Cook will receive on-the-job training and development to advance into a Head Cook role.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.

Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary options.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Contribute to a positive team environment by helping fellow cooks and kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting.

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food service best practices.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Familiarity with dietary restrictions and the ability to accommodate special requests.

A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not required.
