Electrical Engineer

ITS is working with an industry leader to find an Electrical Engineer. This person is responsible for designing electrical assemblies and providing technical support for products in production and at customer sites.

Essential Functions

Design and produce ground support equipment using electrical engineering principles.

Utilize knowledge of electronic components and programming for design and troubleshooting.

Create technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.

Gain expertise in aviation equipment and aircraft electrical systems.

Design and document wire harnesses and calculate electrical power requirements.

Troubleshoot and solve operational issues on-site or remotely.

Develop technical documentation and test procedures for new products.

Install and train clients on electrical equipment and systems.

Coordinate system integration across various subsystems for seamless project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in medium to large-scale production environments.

Proficiency in SolidWorks for creating models and prints.

Familiarity with ERP systems for engineering assemblies.

Experience in three-phase motor applications and control systems.

Knowledge of communication networks and electrical components.

Experience in designing control enclosures and interpreting schematics.

Understanding of NFPA 70 Code and CE certification processes.

Experience with data acquisition systems and closed-loop control.

Interfacing with Engine Control Units.
