Job Summary:

Bellows Internationalis looking for aWarehouse Worker to work with the Warehouse Management and Drivers to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring that all vehicles are cleaned after each delivery. Collaborates with the warehouse manager, supervisors, and drivers to ensure that orders are picked efficiently and accurately. Warehouse workers are responsible for picking and receiving products in a FIFO manner. Warehouse workers will also go on deliveries and ensure that the correct products are delivered to customers in a timely manner. Warehouse workers are responsible for the cleanliness of the facility. Warehouse worker will offload containers, receive product, and ensure product is correctly stored in the building.

Essential Functions:

Accurately picks customer orders for shipping, ensuring correct items and quantities.

Prepares pallets for shipping by consolidating merchandise in an organized manner.

Assists with merchandise rotation in customer establishments to ensure freshness.

Provides outstanding customer service by being honest, polite, courteous, and helpful.

Helps drivers with blind spots while driving or parking vehicles to ensure safety.

Required Education and Experience:

At least one year of previous experience in warehouse environments.

Working knowledge of warehouse processes.

Effective time management and strong teamwork skills.

Prior warehouse experience, preferably in a food distribution environment.

Valid VI drivers license is preferred.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme temperature conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The job involves delivering upstairs and downstairs when required.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and stoop, and occasionally kneel or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
