Iron County is seeking to fill a one (1) year contract to begin July 1, 2025. The Attorney's Office and Court Offices are located in Cedar City, Utah. Attorneys will be required to attend both in person and webex court hearings for Judge Anderson's criminal calendar and recovery court held Wednesday afternoons.

Annual contracted amount is $90,000.00 -- No Benefits Provided -- This is a contracted position only.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must have a law degree from an accredited law school, be an attorney in good standing, currently licensed to practice law in the State of Utah, and at least two (2) years of experience practicing criminal law.

Discuss your overall qualifications and experience in criminal defense including the @types of criminal cases you have worked on in the past.

List other areas of your practice and how you will manage balancing those demands along with the possible demands of special set hearings and extended criminal trials.

List those individuals who would be assisting you in performing the work under the contract (e.g. paralegals, associates, partners, etc.)

A statement is required that the applying attorney is a licensed attorney in good standing with the Utah State Bar and that the applying attorney does not currently have any formal or informal disciplinary action pending by the Utah State Bar or any other State nor any formal or informal actions within the last 5 years.
