It includes general maintenance of trees, manual pruning of fruit trees, cutting and clearing of brush on the properties, and other agricultural tasks to be performed as needed. The crops such as fruit trees (e.g., apples, pears), forage crops, and seasonal tasks like pruning, harvesting, and brush clearing. The crew leaders will assign daily work to employees and the workers must perform these tasks.

The job duties will specify tasks such as pruning fruit trees, harvesting apples and pears, clearing brush, and transporting harvested crops. The employer is expected to provide the supervisor, foreman, or a designated representative who will lead the team of 5 workers (100-140 boxes of berries/day), with a daily work schedule. Workers will have one designated day of rest per week, as required by NYS law. Sunday as the designated day of rest, with voluntary work on this day compensated at the overtime rate.

"The work is seasonal and depends on the climate, the harvest and the workers' availability. The tasks need to be completed in a timely manner. The employer expects workers to maintain a constant pace during the work day, with temperatures above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. With these weather conditions, workers must have the physical capacity to lift and transport 50-lb boxes in the fields. The use of cell phones is strictly limited to emergencies. The work will be done on the farm in the fields and workers must have the physical capacity to perform their duties. The workers musable to comprehend instructions in English.
