What You Will Be Doing

Working as a Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to individuals, including nursing assessments with documentation of physical health/conditions, medication and treatment. You will educate and provide consultation and training to individuals, families and staff regarding health, physical conditions and treatment/management. This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support 1) culturally competent, recovery-based practices, 2)

person centered planning as a shared decision-making process with the individual, who defines his or her own life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals and 3) a trauma-informed culture to aid consumers in their recovery process.

What We Require

You'll have an associate's degree or higher in nursing and an RN license in the State of Michigan. Minimum of 2 years' experience in the mental health field, preferably in a community setting. Experience with adults with developmental disabilities is preferred. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and human relations skills. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritize work, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Lived experiences with behavioral health issues are desired. Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license and reliable transportation.
