West Schuylkill Family Practice is growing! Due to continued growth, we are expanding our clinical team and looking for a dependable, motivated LPN or Medical Assistant to join us. If you enjoy working with patients and want to be part of a busy, team-oriented family practice, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities May Include

Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs

Reviewing and updating medications and medical histories

Preparing patients for provider visits

Administering injections and immunizations as permitted

Performing EKGs, point-of-care testing, and other clinical procedures

Assisting providers with patient care

Handling patient phone calls and clinical messages

Communicating test results and provider recommendations

Processing prescription refill requests and prior authorizations

Coordinating referrals, testing, and follow-up care

Maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record

Supporting other members of the clinical team as needed

Communicates effectively with providers, coworkers, and patients

Is a team player who is willing to help wherever needed

Has strong organizational and multitasking skills

Experience & Opportunities

Previous family practice or primary care experience is a plus

Experience with MEDENT EMR is also a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate

Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities may be available
