Job Duties Job in Plymouth, MN (remote work permitted anywhere in US)

Duties: Underwrite risks, including selection/rejection of new and renewal business for complex, specialty accounts. Develop and execute strategic initiatives with focus on new business and large account management. Manage financial performance of assigned products including accident year loss ratio, premium plans, and commission targets. Execute underwriting strategy and implement underwriting decisions. Identify gaps in coverage and/or services. Make recommendations for marketing, pricing, products and systems. 20% domestic travel in Northeast region

Requirements: (1) Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in any field; (2) 3 years of experience as an Underwriting Specialist or a related occupation; and (3) demonstrated experience with: specialty lines underwriting; commercial lines underwriting; Intact contact claims system; analyzing and developing D&O and E&O policy and risk; developing product pricing, underwriting guidelines and new products; and analyzing financial and operational metrics for insurance products.

Minimum Education Required Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in any field

Minimum Experience Required 3 years of experience as an Underwriting Specialist or a related occupation
