Job Title: Senior Project Manager (SharePoint Services)

Primary Location: Washington, DC

Clearance: Top-Secret (TS) Clearance (Must have to be considered)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with an active Top Secret clearance to lead a high-impact team supporting SharePoint services for a federal organization in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of 2-4 professionals and ensuring the successful delivery of SharePoint-based solutions that meet cost, schedule, scope, and quality requirements. This is a mission-critical role requiring strong leadership, project management, technical knowledge, and business analysis skills within a secure federal environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead a small project team delivering SharePoint services and ensure consistent alignment with organizational goals and standards.

Manage full project lifecycle activities including scheduling, risk management, resource planning, and status reporting using tools like Microsoft Project and SharePoint.

Take full ownership of project deliverables, providing leadership in planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.

Conduct business analysis including requirements gathering (user stories, use cases), gap analysis, and process documentation (as-is/to-be).

Develop and present effective SharePoint-based solutions (SharePoint 2013/2019, SharePoint Online, and future versions) to solve business problems.

Ensure technical and user documentation is clear, well-organized, and conforms to established standards and audience needs.

Participate in and lead meetings, reviews, and collaborative sessions with stakeholders across multiple FBI units.

Ensure architectural, design, and support compliance with the Authorization to Operate (ATO) requirements and FBI Lifecycle Governance.

Provide 24/7 critical incident support plans, including staffing designations and escalation protocols.

Proactively deliver critical problem alerts and updates to ensure senior leadership is informed of high-impact issues.

Maintain a positive, detail-oriented work ethic with consistent delivery of high-quality documentation and deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

Active Top Secret Clearance (required at time of application)

Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related field

8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years managing SharePoint-based projects

Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Project, SharePoint (2013, 2019, Online), and requirements management tools

Strong background in business process analysis, technical writing, and requirements documentation

Ability to work effectively in a high-security, multidisciplinary team environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in presenting complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders

Experience working with federal agencies or within federal IT governance frameworks is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification

Experience supporting federal IT systems, especially within the Department of Justice or FBI

Familiarity with FBI Lifecycle Management (LCM) and ATO processes
