Job Description Title: Acid & Demand Planning Lead

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Duties: Responsible for leading overall acid planning supply, planning analytics as well as demand forecasting activities associated with customers and products globally for the company's phosphates business; responsible for delivery of an accurate 18-24 month rolling demand forecast, maintenance of forecasting models within the Demantra forecasting tool, and acting as process owner of the Demand Review element of company's Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process; ensure continuous supply of acid and oversee supply plans in coordination with company's international operations; oversee planning-related analytics including supervising an analyst in support of these responsibilities; act as integration point between the supply planning, sales and commercial organization, and finance. Define and continuously improve format and content for Demand Review and consensus meetings; coordinate with key stakeholders (Supply Planning, Commercial Management, Finance) to understand cross functional requirements from a demand planning process, and design deliverables; manage the acid supply plan to ensure continuous, uninterrupted supply of acid across all of the company's plants as well as customer demand; supervise planning analyst and provide guidance on analytical needs for the planning group; develop data strategy that captures data efficiently and provides insights for decision-making, including, but not limited to, KPIs and dashboards; manage monthly demand review cycle; maintain statistical forecasting models; gather, analyze and validate data; execute statistical modeling software; review statistical forecasting models; apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting; summarize/aggregate statistical forecasts; review sales plans, customer finance budget updates or latest estimates and demand drivers; present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from sales and finance; recommend adjustments for operational forecast; provide volume input to financial planning (latest estimates / annual process); maintain demand planning system and software; prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning processes.

Hybrid: Position operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days.

Requirements: Requires Bachelor's or higher degree in Supply Chain, Supply Chain and Information Systems, Applied Analytics, or closely related field and two years of experience in job offered or as Logistics & Operations Coordinator or in similar position(s) in supply chain.

Skills required: Background, training and experience must include experience in analytics and demand planning; demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting, and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts; experience with software packages including Windows and Microsoft Office; proficiency in Excel; demonstrated strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and presentation skills; demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process; demonstrated good facilitation skills.

Travel: Travel required to company's North American manufacturing plants and warehouses three to six days per year.
