What we're looking for:

Skills:

Established "One Customer Service" with aligned processes (Aligned with One IOD strategy) providing One Face to the customer for the Downstream Vertical

Functionally integrated processes across the Downstream business with balanced CSR workload

Documented processes used as training material for CSA on-boarding and coaching

Improved customer experience with improved communication

Manages the day-to-day activities of designated Customer Service Teams

Focus on improving communication between Sales, Operations, Planning and Logistics for improved customer service experience

Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and guidance, to coach for peak performance and/or develop action plans for improvement

Provide daily support to the Customer Service team, with hands-on, real-time coaching

Promote and encourage a positive and fun work environment, conducive to learning and creating world class customer experiences

Resolve escalated customer inquiries including, but not limited to pricing, billing, documenting complaints and setting up new accounts

Track and measure team and individual productivity and quality results and monitor service levels

Measure qualitative and quantitative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department

Manage time and attendance tracking and approvals

Provide feedback to management and challenge processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Manage month end close activities, confirming all warehouses are billed, noting accruals as needed

Effectively communicate and coordinate internal workflow among all internal customers

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred

5+ years' experience in customer service and 2+ years' supervisory experience preferred

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement

Highly effective at leading change across a diverse and workforce

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Chemical Industry experience (preferred)

Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability

Ability to translate skills to other employees through training and mentoring
