About the Role:

This position is responsible for supporting various aspects of soybean processing operations, including receiving, cleaning, handling, and storage of soybeans, as well as monitoring their condition and ensuring quality control. This role may also involve tasks like operation machinery, performing light maintenance, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensuring safety protocols are followed and adhering to all company policies. The ideal candidate will coordinate with other employees involved in the production buildings to identify areas for improvement and assist in the execution of process enhancements. By analyzing workflows and providing actionable insights, the Process Assistant contributes to the overall success of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills

Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

Some mechanical skills, preferred

Experience in a processing plant or elevator is preferred

Responsibilities May Include:

Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating

procedures to ensure consistency in processes.

Observing gauges, meters, and other indicators to ensure equipment

is functioning within acceptable parameters.

Assisting with adjusting and controlling various process parameters

to maintain desired product quality and efficiency.

Monitor daily operations and identify inefficiencies, providing

recommendations for process improvements.

Performing light maintenance on equipment and assisting with general

upkeep of the building.

Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions or process

deviations to the appropriate personnel.

Maintaining accurate records of production data and other relevant

information.

Collaborate with team members to gather data and analyze performance

metrics to support decision-making.

Facilitate training sessions for staff on new processes and tools to

ensure smooth implementation.

Support project management initiatives by tracking progress and

reporting on key milestones.

Skills:
