Full-Time Building Cleaner

Position Summary

Hullett Properties is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Full-Time Building Cleaner to maintain a portfolio of residential and commercial properties located throughout Downtown Pittsburgh (Golden Triangle) and the Strip District.

The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for residents, tenants, customers, and visitors. This position includes cleaning common areas in apartment buildings, commercial spaces, offices, and James Caf, which is owned and operated by Hullett Properties.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain common areas of residential and commercial buildings.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.

Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, fixtures, windows, and glass.

Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and break areas.

Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners.

Maintain entrances, lobbies, elevators, stairwells, hallways, and shared amenity spaces.

Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.

Report maintenance issues, damage, safety concerns, or unusual conditions observed during cleaning.

Follow established cleaning schedules while responding to additional cleaning needs as they arise.

Safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies in accordance with company procedures.

Help maintain a professional appearance across all company properties.

Qualifications

Previous commercial, residential, hotel, or janitorial cleaning experience preferred.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Good communication skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and carrying up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.

Ability to climb stairs and work across multiple properties.

Location: Downtown Pittsburgh (Golden Triangle) and Strip District

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
