Versatile and reliable Construction Shop Assistant / Maintenance Worker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including inventory management, maintenance work, yard care, deliveries, fabrication assistance, and cleaning. The role requires a hands-on individual with knowledge of construction materials, maintenance procedures, and a willingness to take on different tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Organize and manage construction materials coming back to the shop. Must have some understanding of various construction materials and their proper storage.

Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks across different locations. This includes but is not limited to changing ceiling tiles, replacing light bulbs, and conducting minor repairs in commercial office spaces.

Yard Work: Operate equipment such as mowers and weed eaters. Responsible for spreading topsoil and planting grass to maintain the company's outdoor spaces.

Deliveries: Respond to jobsite requests for materials. Gather and deliver specific items to the jobsite in a timely and efficient manner.

Fabrication Assistance: Assist with the fabrication of materials and projects at the shop that are to be delivered to job sites.

Cleaning: Keep the shop buildings and job sites clean and organized as needed, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Small Engine Knowledge: If a tool comes back broken from a jobsite it will need diagnosed and either repaired or sent off to be fixed.

Operate Equipment: Minor knowledge on how to move equipment around shop when needed.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of construction materials and tools is preferred.

Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks (light bulb changes, ceiling tile replacement, Etc).

Experience with lawn care equipment (mowers, weed eaters) and landscaping tasks.

Valid driver's license

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
