We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused individual to join our Equity Finance and Delta One Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monetizing relationships with institutional clients, hedge funds, and asset managers, offering solutions across equity finance, securities lending, and delta one products.

This role demands a deep understanding of equity markets, synthetic products, and financing structures, as well as strong communication and execution skills.

Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients, including hedge funds, pension funds, and asset managers.

Market and execute equity finance and delta one products, including:

Total return swaps (TRS), Single Stock, Basket & Index

Single stock and index futures

ETF products

Securities lending and borrowing (SLB)

Work closely with trading, structuring, and risk teams to deliver tailored solutions across synthetic and financing strategies.

Monitor client positions, margin requirements, and revenue metrics to ensure ongoing service quality and risk alignment.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across prime brokerage, operations, and legal to support new client onboarding and ensure efficient trade lifecycle management.

Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to proactively address client needs and generate new business opportunities.

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $175,000.00 and $200,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Qualifications

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.

5 years of experience in equity finance, delta one sales, or a related role within an investment bank or prime brokerage.

Strong understanding of equity derivatives, synthetic financing, and securities lending markets.

Proven track record of building and managing institutional client relationships.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

High level of commercial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to manage risk.

Necessary licensing: SIE, 7 & 63
