THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrician) to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems for nonwoven textile machinery and equipment. The Maintenance Technician (Electrician) performs regular inspections of the facilitys electrical systems and the electrical components of our manufacturing machinery, carrying out repairs and routine preventative maintenance. T

he HBF maintenance team ensures that machinery and equipment are in excellent operating condition, minimizing downtime and disruption to production schedules and eliminating safety hazards for operators.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Works on electronic/mechanical equipment and systems, including, but not limited to electrical controls, PLCs, motors, inverters, high-voltage systems, drive systems, and power transmission components

Monitors and performs work on the plant electrical and mechanical systems/sub-systems; schematics/blueprints; troubleshooting

Troubleshoots and repairs Company assets as trouble calls are received

Performs routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance

Analyzes and minimizes issues; implements improvements and plans of action

Completes electrical project work as part of larger plant initiatives for process improvements; provides support for capital projects requiring electrical support

Supports Manufacturing teams with electrical and/or mechanical issues

QUALIFICATIONS | SKILLS | ABILITIES

High school diploma/GED required; Trade or vocational school certification; equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of education; Journeyman Electrician apprenticeship greatly appreciated

5+ years of experience as an industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment

2+ years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Mechanically inclined with great troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Organized with good communication skills and attention to detail

Works well independently and with others
