Shift Lead Needed. Fast-Paced Frozen Custard Shop needs dedicated Shift Leads to help our unique business continue to thrive and grow! Seasonal business running from mid-March to early November. Days/Nights/Weekends/Holiday availability is a must. Excellent customer service skills required. Supervisory experience preferred.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards.

Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development to enhance team performance.

Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Enforce health and safety policies, including food handling procedures and cleanliness standards.

Support kitchen management by coordinating food production, catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with a strong background in casual dining or fine dining environments.

Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety protocols.

Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.

Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to train staff, manage teams, and oversee shift operations effectively.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically.

Experience supervising food production, catering, bar services, or banquet operations is preferred.

Ability to manage inventory control processes accurately while maintaining cost efficiency.

Familiarity with hospitality management principles including budgeting, training & development, and staff scheduling.

Exceptional communication skills combined with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to the food industry including casual dining or hotel settings.
