DUTIES: We seek a Technology Center Manager based out of our office at 1225 Equity Drive, Troy, MI 48084. Note, this position requires domestic travel, as needed, up to 20%.

Specifying, setting up, maintaining and running the machines in the Technology Center. Selecting, planning and implementing customer demonstrations. Setting up and keeping the HUS Technology Center attractive. Evaluating customer machining requirements and applying HELLER machining solutions. Developing solutions for customer machining requirements including but not limited to work holding solutions, cutting tools, gaging methods and time studies. Implementing specific machining capability studies with customer components. Supporting and planning of demonstrations for machine tool shows where HELLER is participating. Support creation of customer proposals. Software tools to complete the tasks in the technology center: CREO 3D modeling software for analyzing customer workpiece and developing fixtures; AutoCAD for tooling studies; Cutview for process development and cycle time calculations; Hypermill with a CNC post processor for generating CNC programs for Siemens and FANUC; VERICUT for simulation of cutter path, interferences and cycle time; Siemens 840D SL and FANUC 31iB for operating machines. responsible for supervising one mechanical engineer.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:** N/A

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 60 months of experience in job offered or related in automotive and machine tool.

Required experience must include: Experience with machining and machining requirements; Experience in operating a 4- and 5-axis maching centers; Experience selecting and specifying optimum tooling solution; Experience with design and build work holding solutions for customer demonstrations; and Experience writing, debugging and running CNC programs for 4- and 5-axis machines.

Note, this position requires domestic travel, as needed, up to 20%.
