Job Summary: HCHG is hiring Part-Time Line Cooks for an upcoming relaunch of a downtown Erie restaurant & bar concept. We're looking for dependable team members who take pride in clean stations, consistent execution, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen.

Pay: $10.00--$17.00/hour (based on experience and station)

Schedule / Hours: Part-time; evenings, weekends, and select late nights required.

Work Location: Downtown Erie (worksite address provided during screening). Interviews by appointment only.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items to spec with speed, accuracy, and consistency

Work assigned station(s) (grill/fry/saut /pantry as needed)

Complete prep tasks; label/date/rotate product (FIFO)

Maintain sanitation and food safety standards (temps, holding, storage)

Keep station clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service

Communicate with BOH/FOH to support smooth service and ticket flow

Follow recipes, portion standards, and kitchen procedures

Qualifications:

Prior line cook experience preferred (will consider strong candidates with kitchen experience)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain quality under pressure

Reliable attendance and a team-first attitude

Food safety mindset; ServSafe is a plus (not required)

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

Stand for extended periods; work around heat, sharp tools, and wet floors

Lift up to approximately 50 lbs
