Position: Ag Equipment Operator/Livestock Worker

Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, valid driver's license, 6 months work experience, exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements

Job description:

The job opportunity consists of routine agricultural tasks including feeding and caring for livestock, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, and operating basic farm equipment under daily supervision.

Required to: perform tasks capably and efficiently with daily supervision, Workers receive daily supervision and on-site training (1-3 months). No independent operation of farm equipment without supervisor approval and safety check, to maintain equipment and machinery to a standard established by the employer, work outdoors in all @types of weather and may experience occasional exposure to hazards such as poisonous snakes, biting insects and extreme temperature, work with and around farm machinery such as tractors, UTVs and ATVs for supplemental feeding purposes and movement of livestock, demonstrate commonsense and awareness of safe equine handling procedures, i.e. no running in barns, shouting, abusing animals, leaving gates/stall doors/feed rooms open or smoking in and around barns, sheds or hay storage, handle animals using low stress handling methods, work as part of a team when needed.

Schedule:

Monday-Saturday, 7am to 4pm, 48hrs per week

Anticipated period of employment: 2/10/26-12/09/26

Pay: $18.00/HR, paid twice monthly

Effective 1/1/25: Overtime must be paid after 48 hours/week, or 56 hours/week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers.
