Reference #: 1464 Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for a Senior Accountant in our Plymouth Meeting, PA location. In this role you will play a key role in our month-end close processes and financial reporting by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, preparing journal entries and completing account reconciliations while being thorough in the work to ensure accurate financials. Strong communication skills are critical since this role requires collaboration with several departments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly financial close process Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations related to cash, investments, prepaids, fixed assets, inventory, other current assets, accrued expenses and revenue Analyze financial data to explain variances and identify trends for financial reporting Make suggestions and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial results Satisfy external and internal auditor requests for supporting documentation during quarterly and annual audits. Onboard new vendors and maintain vendor master information Support tax preparation and compliance for foreign tax filings Participate in the implementation of a new ERP Assist with ad hoc requests and special projects as requested

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required within the Accounting discipline or related field 4+ years experience within Accounting and/or Auditing roles Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task with attention to detail Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Financial / ERP Systems; ERP implementation experience highly preferred High ethical & quality standards and lives them through actions and communication Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for continual improvement with a proven track record as a proficient solver of complex problems Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to colleagues, business partners, stakeholders and upper management across varied styles and cultures

Physical demands and work environment: Travel is estimated to be less than 5% of the time for this position. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision. Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and cell phone. Continuous sitting for prolonged periods.
