Hadco Construction in Lehi, Utah seeks for a full-time CDL Truck Driver.

Location: Lehi, UT (Operating within a 70-mile radius of Corporate Office).

Job Description: We're seeking skilled CDL Truck Drivers to join our team. Drivers will be responsible for operating dump trucks with Gross Vehicle Weights (GVW) between 55,000 and 80,000 pounds. New hires will start with trucks in the 55,000--65,000 GVW range and may advance to larger vehicles as they gain experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Pre-Trip Inspection: Conduct thorough daily pre-trip inspections on assigned dump trucks to ensure roadworthiness. This includes checking tire pressure, brakes, lights, and turn signals. All inspections are documented via the Fleetio mobile app, accessed on a company-provided smartphone.

Material Transportation: Transport dirt and other materials between job sites or to landfill locations. After each load is delivered, drivers return to designated job sites to repeat the loading and transportation process.

Aggregate Material Handling: Haul aggregate materials such as dirt, sand, gravel, and road base from pits to construction sites, following instructions from a construction supervisor for accurate unloading.

Post-Trip Inspection: Conduct end-of-day inspections for any damages, verify tire condition, remove any rocks lodged in rear tires, and ensure all materials have been offloaded. Post-trip inspections are recorded in Fleetio.

Additional Requirements: Drivers must meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) standards, which include:

Adhering to mandatory hours of service and maintaining compliance.

Pre-planning trips to align with pick-up and delivery schedules.

Reporting mechanical or safety defects and ensuring prompt preventive maintenance.

Communicating with dispatch using company-provided systems for updates on loading, unloading, and trip status.

Wage: $55,037 per year.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid CDL.

Compliance with FMCSA standards.
