We are currently seeking a service oriented ReStore Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric attitude. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, driving sales and maintaining a positive shopping experience for all customers. Other responsibilities include accepting donations, providing donation receipts, product cleaning and pricing. This is a part-time position working 28 hours/week.

Position Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers as they enter the store

Recommend products and services based on customers' needs and preferences

Process transactions accurately and efficiently

Build and maintain customer relationships through exceptional service

Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends

Screen and accept donated product for resale to ensure it is sellable and consistent with ReStore product acceptance standards

Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and donation area

Serve as point of contact for volunteers, providing guidance, support, and assistance as needed

Position Requirements:

Basic office equipment skills including phone, cash register, copier

Ability to lead and direct volunteers

Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to move 50 pounds

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Previous retail or sales experience with building supplies preferred

Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating Saturdays
