As Shift Leader, you will supervise Front Desk operations to ensure consistently delivered exceptional customer service to Guests. Provide Team Members with assistance with Guest inquiries. The Shift Leader interacts with Guests and contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently manages the operations of the front desk, ensuring

minimal time is required for check in and checkout.

Warmly and professionally welcomes all guests.

Directs guests to appropriate hotel staff for assistance with

questions and special requests regarding food, laundry, concierge services, or housekeeping.

Treats requests with professionalism, tact, and a courteous manner.

Ensures prompt delivery of final bills to guests.

Ensures the lobby and shared areas are neat and orderly.

Keeps updated knowledge of hotel policies including room rates,

discounts, special offerings, and community events.

Maintains knowledge of upcoming events, local area, and hotel

offerings.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Address guest concerns promptly and ensure overall guest

satisfaction

Respond to emergency situations and monitor the fire alarm panel as

needed

Provide shift coverage across AM, PM, and overnight hours based on

operational requirements

Assist in training new team members

Other duties as assigned

Previous experience in hospitality preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with the local area with the ability to provide directions and maps to local attractions and destinations.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and industry related software.

Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing at the front desk and working on a computer.

Ability to lift, carry and manipulate various items (ex: luggage) weighing up to 50 pounds
