Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver to transport recycled materials, including mulch, compost and other construction debris, to and from job sites, recycling facilities, and disposal locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate CDL-required vehicles (dump truck, roll-off, or tractor-trailer as assigned).

Transport recycled materials.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.

Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport and compliance with DOT regulations.

Maintain accurate delivery and pickup documentation.

Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining communication with dispatch.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers and job site personnel.

Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle.

Qualifications

Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required).

Current DOT medical card.

Clean driving record.

Ability to operate manual transmission.

Previous experience hauling recycling materials, or dump/roll-off containers preferred but not necessary.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

Work Environment

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Frequent entry and exit from vehicle.

Exposure to construction and recycling environments.
