Experience in Power School or Infinite Campus desired. This salaried position will work 228 days out of the year, 1.0 FTE. Eligible for remote work.

Provides support services for student information technology systems to the Agency, school districts and other education agencies. Provides appropriate resources and technical support in the day-to-day operations and general functionality of the assigned student information system (SIS) and assists users in meeting identified needs. Supports clients in understanding and using the SIS related applications to help ensure efficient and effective implementation. Provides services that are customer focused and based on client needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, education or related area or, alternatively, comparable combination of education and experience.

Three years professional experience working with computer services/data systems.

Knowledge and experience with school administrative technology applications.

Essential Functions

Provides support to client users in the implementation and administration of SIS applications.

Provides first-level, day-to-day response for SIS service ticket requests and follows the escalation process for SIS troubleshooting.

Supports client users with the establishment and maintenance of system procedures and timelines for data preparation and processing.

Builds capacity of client users to support administrative operations of the SIS.

Assists senior team members in the delivery of client training in SIS applications.

Supports team projects under the direction of senior team members.

Collaboratively develops and implements goals and objectives for SIS services.

Additional Responsibilities

Participates in projects, committees or activities to support the Agency's mission, goals and priorities.

Maintains current knowledge of SIS applications, best practices and industry standards.

Follows policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Agency and industry which includes, but is not limited to, developing and maintaining proper and adequate records and documentation.

Handles information in a confidential manner in accordance with established policies and legal requirements (FERPA, HIPAA, etc).

Supports effective team functioning through collegial problem solving.

Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

Physical Requirements

Ability to travel between client sites served.

Normal, routine levels of activity related to bending, carrying, climbing, hearing, lifting, reaching, sitting, standing, vision and walking, and may also involve above-average levels of activity at times that can't always be anticipated.
