The owner and administration team are on site supporting teachers from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. We are accepting applications for Float Teachers, Assistant Teachers, or Aides at all levels for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. A Resource Teacher and/or Aide acts as a float, supporting all classrooms and covering teacher vacations or lunch break coverage. We use a team teaching approach where everyone: Develops lesson plans Meets the individual's needs of the children, Is involved in parent communication, Participates in staff and training meetings, Designs an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom, Interacts with the children to support play, exploration, and learning. Presents expectations appropriate to the child's age and developmental level. Plans and implements activities that develop self-esteem and social skills. Communicates appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff. Builds teamwork. Uses assessment tools. Commits to continuing education. Teacher Qualifications: AA or CDA with two years experience OR B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field and one year experience OR A similar mix of education and experience Assistant Teacher Qualifications: 12 post-secondary credits in early childhood development or a related field Or B.S, in any field Experience working with children ages 6 weeks-6 years. High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 18 years of age. Aide Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 18 years of age. Experience with 6 weeks to 6 years preferred, not required.
