GM InfoTech LLC in Houston, Texas seeks an IT Project Manager to p

erforms complex business functional requirements analysis, system and process design, plan and set up the timeline for the compete delivery of the project and make sure the project is executed as per the project plan and delivered to the client on the promised timelines. Generates new business by talking to various prospective clients. In this role, the IT Project Manager will need to develop project phases, mile stones and deliverables, major and minor releases, project road map, project plans, time lines for the deliverables and project close up/handover to clients satisfaction. Pitch in sales ideas to new customer, generate leads and the leads into new business. Requires strong hands-on consulting technical experience with a sound business process understanding and experience in generating new business.

Responsible for development of project charter, planning, execution and the delivery of the project as per the set timelines. Prepare project plan, identify the milestones and deliverables and assign delivery times for each phase of the project. Assign tasks to the development teams and set target timelines for delivery. Monitor and control the project execution. Identify and mitigate risks. Ability to work through ambiguity to define a workable model and design to work for both systems and business requirements. Exercise project management practices and support a productive environment. Be able to effectively communicate project status to the senior management on a regular basis.

Partner with the business clients to ensure their expectations are met and handled. Close the project with in the set timelines and to the satisfaction of the client. Interact with onsite and off shore development teams, make sure the requirements and documents are propel translated and understood by the technical team. Make sure all the software development life cycle phases are getting completed on time. Resolve issues within the team and between the teams. Foresee the risks and take necessary actions to mitigate the risks. Close the project as per the set guidelines and timelines.

MINIMUM

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Technology, or its foreign equivalent. Employer will accept an academic equivalency evaluation found to be the equivalent of a US Bachelors Degree by an accredited educational evaluation company.

EXPERIENCE: 60 months of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the field or in the alternative job positions of Assistant Consultant, Senior Consultant, Associate Consultant, Senior Software Engineer.
