We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dispatch Manager to oversee our logistics and transportation operations in our Van Wert, OH office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the efficient movement of freight, managing dispatching activities, and ensuring optimal use of resources. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of transportation management systems. Pay is based on experience!

Responsibilities

Manage daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Oversee transportation planning and logistics to meet customer demands while minimizing costs.

Analyze data related to freight movement, supply chain performance, and operational efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, including shipping & receiving documentation.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding fleet management.

Handle multi-line phone systems to communicate with drivers, customers, and vendors effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dispatching or logistics management within a transportation environment.

Familiarity with supply chain processes, freight operations, and fleet management principles.

Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.

Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
