The Medical Office Receptionist is responsible for assisting the physician in the care of patients through appropriate scheduling, collection of information and exceptional customer service. In collaboration with Administration plans and coordinates most business operations of the office to include answering phones, collecting insurance information and copays, coding, scheduling patients for the office and for hospital studies or therapy, etc., ordering supplies, facilitating written communication with patients and physicians, calls to pharmacies, schedule patients, etc. Maintains Office in accordance with the standards established by the Hospital, Federal, State, Joint Commission and local standards. Maintains appropriate paperwork for Office records. Position interacts with patients of all ages. All functions of the Office are carried out according to the Glen Rose Medical Centers Mission Statement and policies. The Office Receptionist reports directly to the Physician regarding clinical services and to the Clinic Supervisor regarding business functions.

Educational/Licensure/Training:

High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years experience in a physician office setting. CPR Certified.

Salary:

$14 - $18 per hour depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
