GLCC Co. is a food manufacturing company located in Paw Paw, MI. We produce liquid flavorings, juice blends and dry blending. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn new things as well as bring some qualities to the table to join our team. We are a company of about 20-30 employees. Our production crew members work in teams of 2-3 members per team per production room. These teams are responsible for the scheduled production being completed in that room daily. Our teams must be able to communicate and work together. Please see the requirements below to see if you might be a good fit to join our team.

Interested qualified prospects:

Physical

Employees must be able to lift raw materials weighing up to 50# and finished products weighing between 50#-60#

Employees should be able to push or pull equipment weighing up to 70#

Show a cleaning mentality

Food manufacturing requires essential cleaning to be conducted at the start of each shift as well as the end of each shift. Sanitation and testing to ensure all equipment is clean must be conducted.

Employees must conduct thorough deep cleaning daily, weekly and monthly of the production rooms as well as the facility.

Be knowledgeable

Employees must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions. Each production run will have a batch sheet that will have written instructions to follow and any instructions given verbally by team mates.

Attention to details is a very important skill and part of this job. Employees must be able to track lot numbers of ingredients used in production and record into our computer software on a laptop.

Employees are required to weigh out ingredients and understand the difference between ingredients

Employees need to follow direction for packaging finished products and ensure all proper labels are applied to packaging

Teamwork is essential here as well as being able to start the production on your own if needed.

Understanding, following and respecting company policies is required.

Simple math skills required. Addition, subtraction and unit conversion.

Be Organized

Employees are responsible for the organization and cleanliness of their production rooms. The team is required to keep track and organize their tools and personal protection equipment

Set up and organize your room for efficiency

Additional Responsibilities

Periodic tasks may include painting walls, floors and/or pieces of equipment

Deep cleaning of the facility when needed

Teamwork is crucial, collaboration on projects and effective communication with all employees are essential for success.

Dress Code

No jewellery, fake lashes or fake nails are allowed in production areas

Painted nails you must wears 2 pairs of gloves at all times in production areas

Steel toed or safety toed shoes are required in production areas and warehouse

Personal protection equipment must be worn at proper times and is provided by GLCC Co.
