REQUIREMENTS:

Academic:

Must be a Registered Nurse. One year of psychiatric experience recommended.

Physical Requirements:

Must have physical dexterity in order to assist in client/student physical interventions when necessary.

Must complete and pass agency Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training and maintain certification.

Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

Emotional Requirements:

Must have emotional stability to perform essential job functions.

Other Requirements:

Must possess verbal and written communication skills.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required

Must be able to adjust hours to job requirements.

Access to a telephone.

Must have the ability to implement written physician orders.

Must have acceptable PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance, FBI clearance, Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form, and Act 168 Forms.

Must be able to identify with the agency Mission Statement and support the agency's Core Values.
