Gaven Industries, Inc. is looking for a highly organized and dependable Accounting Professional to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our team. Responsibilities include A/R, A/P, payroll support, project invoicing, and maintaining records to support audits. Additional duties include union and certified payrolls, coordination of insurance requirements, sales and use tax support. This is a full-time position with hybrid/flexible scheduling options.

Job Responsibilities:

Manages accounts receivables and accounts payables.

Assists weekly payroll process, which can include union and certified payrolls.

Works with Project Management to ensure timely and accurate progress billings.

On-board customers and co-manage credit limits and sales tax exemptions.

Coordinates insurance requirements with customers when required.

Assist with sales and use tax filings.

Process weekly expense reports.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Meticulous attention to detail.

Strong general accounting knowledge.

Ability to quickly learn complex ERP systems.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Office 365 and SharePoint.

Ability to consistently meet deadlines, multi-task, and work under pressure due to work complexity and time sensitivity

Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience

2 years of experience in similar role
