Foot & Ankle Institute of Ohio is seeking a caring, dependable, and experienced Medical Billing Specialist

to join our busy, family-oriented solo private practice specializing in Foot & Ankle Surgery

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position

, Monday--Friday, 8:00 AM--4:30 PM

. No evenings, weekends, or holidays!

We are looking for a dedicated team member interested in a long-term position

Position Summary

The Medical Billing Specialist manages all aspects of medical billing and accounts receivable

, including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, denials and appeals, insurance follow-up, and patient billing communication and collections.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the practice's billing expert and go-to resource

Submit claims, post payments, manage accounts receivable, and follow up on unpaid claims.

Research and appeal denied or underpaid claims and identify trends for the physician.
