The Manufacturing Production Manager will lead daily operations at our Halifax plant, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and team development. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, aligning production with strategic goals, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development: Supervise and mentor production supervisors and team leads, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Operational Excellence: Oversee production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining quality standards. Continuous Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, fostering a safe working environment. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to streamline operations and resolve production issues. Performance Monitoring: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing leadership role, with a proven track record of managing teams and improving production processes. Skills: Strong leadership and team-building abilities. Proficiency in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with production planning and inventory control systems. Certifications: Lean/Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
