Fentress Architects, LLC seeks Architect to prepare & develop design solutions & construction documentation drawings, using 3D modeling program, 2D design programs in Denver, CO. Communicate construction information regarding design, materials, building systems and technology, product specifications. Ensure projects comply with relevant building, zoning code and accessibility requirements. Organize meetings to coordinate with multi-disciplinary consultants such as Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Plumbing Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Civil Engineers. Work with vendors, contractors to ensure the design goals are achieved. Work with project designers and managers to understand and execute all aspects of the project goals and design process. Engage in all phases of projects of medium to large size and proactively contribute to the overall success of the team, while adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design and execution. Participate in marketing efforts and presentations to prospective clients. Generate new work opportunities, build and maintain client relationships. Collaborate on the team's development project deliverables and construction documentation. Provide mentorship and leadership to younger staff. This position will manage one (1) Architectural Designer I. 10% Domestic travel required.

Master's degree in Architecture or related field of study (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 7 years experience in Architecture, Design Professional, Architectural Designer, or related occupation.

Salary: $100,030

Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Requires 7 years of experience in each of the following: Working in various 3D modeling and 2D design software for construction documentation and coordination with consultants; Creating presentational materials for Clients and consultants while utilizing 2D graphic and visualization software; Working with regulatory requirements including Internation Building Code (IBC), local zoning code, ADA Accessibility Standards, and current energy codes; Working with various project delivery methods including permitting process with local jurisdiction; building technology and building systems relevant to projects; Building parametric families and components; Utilizing Autodesk Revit for construction documentation; Autodesk AutoCAD; Sketchup; Rhino; Working on design presentation programs including, Adobe Creative Photoshop, Adobe Creative InDesign, and Adobe Creative Illustrator; Enscape rendering softwares; Bluebeam Software; and Microsoft Office Suites.
