Assistant Property Manager - Bilingual (English/Spanish)

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, youll help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our residential or commercial properties. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a solid grasp of property management practices and a talent for building positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members. Experience with upselling, Fair Housing compliance, and tenant satisfaction will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Property Manager with daily operations, including leasing, tenant communications, and administrative tasks.

Maintain organized records, including tenant files, contracts, and legal documents.

Handle tenant inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and strong phone etiquette.

Conduct routine property inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.

Manage tenant disputes while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws.

Promote and upsell property services or amenities to prospective tenants.

Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely responses to tenant requests.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Solid knowledge of Fair Housing laws and conflict resolution practices.

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience with legal and administrative aspects of property leasing.

Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
